Came home buzzing from this lovely photoshoot. The brief was for a couple of images that could be used by the client for their social network profile and/or their company personal profile. It was less reliant on the camera and more on knowing how to use light and posing subjects. It was at the client’s own home, and before I arrived I had no idea what to expect. However, although I had taken some studio lights and modifiers with me there was some beautiful natural light, so we took advantage of that and did the whole shoot in this. In one room a low winter sun streaming was streaming in, where I simply used a net curtain to diffuse the light and reduce the glare also a Lastolite trigrip to produce some backfill on the other side of the face. The remainder of the photoshoot we took advantage of a room with a naturally gentle north light and a chance to sit by the window, again using a Lastolite tripgrip to wrap the light more around the face.
