Here’s a little trick of the photography trade… Portrait shots don’t need fantastic locations to be nice, but it helps to be opportunistic and to be able to spot opportunities like in the sequence above. These images were taken on one of our family day trips, this time to the National Trust’s Hughenden Manor where came across this blue door in the stables courtyard. It could be any old door really, but the solid blue, of the door was inviting. So Tini took advantage of it using our son Benjamin as the model… and for Tini to practice her camera skills.
