It was my delight to cover a recent wedding at Worton Hall the other day. Lovely grounds with a good choice of natural and contemporary locations for photoshoots as I discovered on a reccie of the grounds in the weeks before the actual wedding with the bride and groom.
Worton Hall offered two licensed locations for holding the wedding, a wooden pagola in the grounds outside or inside in the hall itself depending on the weather. As it turned out poor weather was not the problem, it was a brilliant day in every sense of the word from the atmosphere of the wedding to brilliance of the sun. It kept me on my toes anyway :-) The setting outside was lovely and a huge willow and pond provided a lovely backdrop for the group and individual shots. I hadn’t planned on climbing a tree to get the height I needed for the large group shot, but apparently it provided quite a bit of entertainment for the wedding guests.
Like most days not everything goes to plan and the group shots took too much time to allow for the individual shots with the bride and groom, so we came back just before sunset, to take advantage of the gorgeous light during the golden hour.
Another beautiful wedding. A little taster of the individual shots and the beautiful setting:
