Frozen Fire

There’s a beauty to nature I often find others miss, be it patterns in the ground, sky, rocks, plants, or the transient, constantly moving, living, dynamic force to be seen in fire and water. With the latter, because it is constantly moving and often a very transient, it’s too fast for our eyes to capture. Leaving us mesmerised by the hint of patterns we notice. Well, that’s me anyway 🙂

I didn’t set out to take these images. The opportunity came with the fire from a Swedish torch we had set up to enjoy more of the evening outside in the garden when my son had a couple of friends around.
