Terms and Conditions – Digital Images Only

General

Prices are as stated in Pounds Sterling and inclusive of VAT, unless otherwise stated.

Photographer refers to ‘Kit Logan’ and/or ‘Kit Logan Photography’.
Client refers to the person requesting and/or arranging the photography for themselves or others with the photographer.

Payment

• Photography services requested must be paid and received in full before the photoshoot. Please see cancellation terms below regarding refunds and rescheduling.
• In the event of failure to pay in full the photographer holds the rights to withhold the final gallery of images and any additional products until all monies are received.

Cancellations

• In the event of cancellation of a photoshoot by the client for whatever reason, I am happy to organise the photoshoot for another day at no additional cost except for travel and/or entry fees, etc outside of my control. Or refund fees less £200 if the cancellation is before 7 days of the photoshoot.
• There is no refund if cancellation is within 7 days of the photo shoot and an alternative date is not booked.
• An alternative date must be booked within 14 days of the notification of cancellation.
• Where the photographer has to cancel for whatever reason, the client has the option to rebook for an alternative date OR receive a full refund of any monies paid and received at that point.

Photoshoot locations

• Please be aware that some locations prohibit certain types of photography or any photography.
• Where the photography location is not the choice of the photographer. ALL liability resulting from choice of location is the responsibility of the client.
• In the event photography at a location not chosen by the photographer can not proceed because of local regulations or conditions that were foreseeable. This is will be treated as a cancellation within the 7 day limit.
• The photographer may also have their own concerns, technical, safety or otherwise regarding location and therefore retain the right to final say over the desired location and ability to veto any location, for any reason that they feel may be cause for concern, endanger life, risk of injury or possible damage to equipment.
• If a location requires additional costs to access it e.g. a photography licence, these costs are the responsibility of the client and in addition to the price of the photoshoot.

Hair, makeup and clothing

• Unless specifically organised the client is responsible for all hair, makeup and clothing that you want yourself or those you have arranged to be photographed in. If this is of concern.

Travel

• Prices stated include the cost of 1.5 (one and a half) hours travel from the photographer’s location in Reading (RG30) to the location of the photoshoot. Any travel beyond this will incur additional charges.
• Where multiple locations are desired these may require more than one photo shoot. This can be arranged as additional time and/or travel or additional separate contracts.

Image Use

• All images supplied to the client will come with the licence for unlimited sharing, distribution and reprinting by electronic and physical media for advertising and promotion purposes.
• Reselling of any image is prohibited.
• Photographer retains copyright on all images. Copyright of an image or images can be purchased at extra cost.

Additional products

• Additional products such as albums, posters, prints, bespoke framed or unframed art (eg acrylic prints) may be ordered prior to the photoshoot or after.
• Any additional products must be paid for in full before they are ordered and/or dispatched by the photographer.
